LEAGUES:    Recreational curling consists of weekly league play between
established teams.  If anyone is interested in joining a league, please contact  
info@midlandcurls.org .    Fees for the Midland Curling Club are assessed as an
annual membership to cover league play for the entire season.  The cost for first
year members is very reasonable.  For details check our
Enrollment Form.
Monday Open League:  runs from 7 - 9 p.m. with socializing afterwards
Tuesday Ladies's League:  runs from 7-9 p.m. with socializing and snacks afterwards
Wednesday Open League:  runs from 7-9 p.m. with socializing afterwards
Friday Mixed League:  men and women wind down the work week from 7-9 p.m.
                                        with socializing and snacks afterwards
Sunday Youth League:  middles school and high school students learn to curl                     
                                       from 1:30 - 3:30 p.m.
Sunday Mixed League:  couples curl from 5-7 p.m. followed by a light meal and socializing
2008-2009:  League play will begin the week of November 10th, 2008.
 
We are offering a couple of
new leagues for this season.  Our first daytime league, called the
Sunrise League, will be held on Thursday mornings from 9:30-11:30 a.m.  Our Novice 8 week
learn-to-curl leagues will be held on Thursday's, with a start time of 5:30 p.m.  There will also
be two Open Curling sessions, one on Tuesday and one on Thursday, both from 11:30 - 1:30
p.m.  These sessions are open for curlers to drop in for $5 and practise throwing rocks.  Mike
Graves will be teaching two middle school sessions on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30
-5:00 p.m.  He is also offering instruction to all curlers on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5-6
p.m. , again with a drop in fee of $5.
